The Jumper Ring
Facilities
A note from Shannon Fisher, Ohio Jumper Ring Trainer:
"When I was 19, I started a small lesson and training program. Fast forward 7 years and this program has become more than I ever dreamed it would- we have the best business partners, clients, friends and horses! Over the last 7 years, many clients have followed me with blind faith from barn to barn as the program continued to outgrow every barn we leased. We have been under contract, pending a lot split, on a forever home for our clients and horses. We are currently in the process of extensive renovations to restore this gem to her former glory. We’ve removed many dead trees that were just a matter of time before they fell down, lots of walnut trees, which are very toxic to horses. We’ve repaired countless broken water lines that have been leaking underground for years and contributing to the drainage problem at the entrance of the driveway near Mount Pleasant St. This barn has been an asset to the North Canton community for 30+ years and we plan to remain a vital part of the community.
I’m lucky enough to have a very handy husband, JP Fisher and my dad, Don Stambaugh is well-versed in construction of all sorts. We have the best crew working from Ultimate Stone Alternatives, Performance Concrete, Gary Smith Construction, Timberlands Tree Experts Inc., Anderson Plumbing to get renovations done as efficiently as we can to cut down on construction noise. Thank you to everyone who has dedicated their time and energy to helping this program have a new home! Please continue to check back for updates as new projects get completed! We look forward to hosting an open house in the near future for the community to come and see everything we have to offer!"
