World Equestrian Center-Ocala

Recently, The Jumper Ring team was fortunate enough to show at the brand new World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida! Our team spent three weeks showing, learning, and training. The showgrounds surely did not disappoint. Trainer, Sara Ring described it as "completely unreal." She said she wasn't even able to explain how incredible it was to those she talked to on the phone back home.

Once our riders and trainers picked their jaws up off the ground, they went right to work. Our riders showed in everything from the .85m to the 1.20m and everything in between. Congratulations to all our riders!

Sara Ring and Free Vole de Laume, "Vida" competed in the 6-Year-Old Young Jumper division as well as a few 1.20m classes. Sara and Vida brought home a first, second, and some clear blue ribbons.

Lauren Mounts and Chantilly Alice competed in a very large Low Children's Division bringing

home a 5th, 7th, and a 10th in their Sunday Classic. The pair also moved up to an open 1.10m class where they had yet another beautiful round.

Mackenzie Dylewski and Jackson on Tour debuted together at their first big venue show! They competed in a large .65m class and laid down beautiful rounds. We are excited to watch this pair grow together in the future!

Sophie Grunwald competed aboard Jackson on Tour "Gambit" as well as Smoke Rings in the

Dark "Kanga" down in Florida. Sophie and Gambit had beautiful rounds in the 12-14 Equitation during the first week and the second week, the pair won their Power and Speed class in the Novice .95. Sophie and Kanga competed in a large Baby Greens 2'6 Hunter division as well as the 12-14 Equitation division. This pair was 7th in the under saddle!

Abbie Rummel and Balotta started their time in the .85m and moved all the way up to the 1.0m with great rides throughout their weeks! Abbie and Balotta were 9th in their .95 classic during week two. This pair has a lot to be proud of from their time in Florida.

Amanda Shafer and Smoke Rings in the Dark "Kanga" had an incredible time! This was

Kanga's first big show, and longest trailer ride. The pair placed in almost all of their classes! Their highlights include and 5th place in their NSBA Under Saddle class of 40+ riders, and two 4ths and a 5th in their Adult 2'6" Equitation division!

Veronica Llewellyn joined us for the last week of showing and also was aboard Smoke Rings in the Dark and competed in the Open NSBA 2'6" Hunters. Veronica and Kanga had an incredible learning experience and we are excited to see Kanga move up the ranks in the future!

Shannon Fisher and Harry Potter moved up to the open 1.10m at this show and were very

successful. This new team has a bright future ahead of them and we're excited to watch them grow. Shannon also competed in the 1.0m Thoroughbred Jumper class with Jackson on Tour, bringing home 4th place.

Congratulations, again, to all of the Jumper Ring riders! We're very excited to see what the Summer show season back home has to offer you all. We've already begun planning our next visit to Florida and we hope you'll come with us!
